E-Vocabulary was a common project of partners from seven European countries co-financed by the Leonardo da Vinci program. The aim of the project was to develop a comprehensive online terminology bank specifically aimed at the hotel and tourism profession, in twenty European languages. This tool gives the workers in the Hotel and Tourism Industry firstly an opportunity to upgrade their professional skills and to acquire competencies and skills necessary to join an open European labour market, secondly an opportunity to get better access to professional information within the industry on a European wide level.
This project was co-financed by the European Social Fund and responded to insuficient level and implementing of guest orientation into initial and continuing vocational education in hospitality. As target group were selected professionals working in vocational education – teachers in vocational schools, trainers and supervisors in human resources development. During the project have been developed new educational materials and tools and presented and proofed during the pilot project testing.

Cuisine-et-vin is a long-time inititative of Hospitality Training Institute, started in 2006 in the frame of crossborder project and international culinary workshop Wine Cuisine of South Moravia and Lower Austria. Aim of this inititative is to establish sustained international platform for exchange of culinary knowledge, presentation of regional gastronomy heritage and hospitality education in European vinegrowing countries.
Making Tourism Work (MTW) is a Hungarian project in which our Institute took part as partner. Project aims to develop a highly innovative, internationally competitive modularized training package with qualification standards specialized for health and wellness tourism (HWT). Financed by the Leonardo da Vinci’s Pilot Projects Programme, MTW addresses the need for more uniformity, transparency and transferability of training outcomes across Europe in HWT.
KAST is a Bulgarian project, in which our Institute took part as a partner. Financed by the Leonardo da Vinci’s Multilateral Projects Programme, KAST aims to adapt training methods and recognise availability of skills of older workers (45+) to the European market through providing methodologies for recognition of qualifications that reflect the new requirements of tourism industry.
Spanish project Hoteljob Europrofile, in which our Institute took part as a partner, aimed to develop and implement comprehensive advisory, information and training package and tools for migrating workers in European Hotel and Tourism Industry.
We have performed training "Online marketing in small hospitality enterprises" for participants from Slovak hotels.
Together with our partner, Vysočina Tourism Agency, we have started realisation of two-year project „ Educational Programs for Sustainable Development of SMEs in Tourism Services" , cofinanced from European Social Fund and state budget of Czech Republic.
We have carried out two management skills trainings for department heads of Slovak Health Spa Piešťany
Our project „ Educational Programs for Sustainable Development of SMEs in Tourism Services" in Vysočina Region has been approved for co-financing from European Funds.
We carried out successfully three-day training Professional Restaurant Service for participants from Hotel Park**** Piešťany and Hotel Flora*** Trenčianske Teplice.
We started to carry out individual management training in F&B department of Marrol´s Hotel **** Bratislava
In the framework of vocational education program for Slovak Association of Hotels and Restaurants we have carried out two-days training Professional Front-Office clerk" for participants from different Slovak hotels.
On June 15-16th we have performed two-day training "Customer Orientation and Quality Standards in Hospitality" for middle-management from different Slovak hotels.
